Inside NYC

more at Lincoln Restaurant

In autumn of 2010, the Lincoln, the new restaurant at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, opened in Manhattan. Since then, it has been thrilling design fans with its interior and gourmets with its 3-star creations. Always with you at the table: our classic-looking upholstered chair, Stay. For the interior design concept of the globally renowned office DILLER SCOFIDIO + RENFRO, we supplied Stay in grey-white leather, with a swivel base, glides and in a special size. Next to it, we have eleven bar stools and tables.

Whether our furniture harmonises as well with the ideas of the architects as a bottle of 2007 Soave Classico with lobster ravioli is a matter of personal opinion. However, for more there there was a second helping: in the spring we were furnishing the outside area of the Lincoln with a special version of Stay in stainless steel.

The New York office of DILLER SCOFIDIO + RENFRO is particularly known for
its often artistically-inspired design concepts in which photography and video installations also play a large role. The many excellent projects include the pavilion Blur Building at the Swiss National Exposition in 2002 for which Elizabeth Diller and Richardo Scorfidio won the Progressive Design Award. The show-stopper: the outside of the building consisted of finely sprayed mist.
